Carob Spread

The amazing texture that you get when mixing carob powder and liquid fascinated and inspired me ever since I discovered this wonderful mixture! With carob powder, it is possible to get a creamy texture without adding any oil! So what you have instead is a great creamy texture, deliciousness and the option to eat more of it than just a few spoons because it is not heavy at all! 

Serves 4. Prep time: 10 min


160 ml plant-based milk
1 tbsp cinnamon
30 g freshly roasted almonds
40 g raisins
100 g carob powder
(a few raisins to garnish)


Blend the plant milk, the cinnamon, the almonds and half of the raisins. With a fork, combine with the other half of the raisins and carob powder until you have a creamy mass.
